An Historical and Descriptive Sketch of Birmingham was published in Birmingham by Beilby, Knott and Beilby in 1830. It contained several copperplate images of forty-four local buildings, produced about two years earlier, with descriptions of these as well as the rest of the town, so provides an interesting tour around the town at this time.
