A coloured version of an advert for James & Gibbs, manufacturers of plated goods, which appeared in Wrightson's Triennial Directory in 1818. These were James James and Joseph Gibbs, who dissolved their partnership in 1820, with Gibbs carrying on at the Newhall Street address.*
